5th Grade Walking Field Trip to Freedom Lights!
This Friday, September 19, our 5th graders will take a walking field trip to Freedom Lights at Bountiful Park in recognition of Constitution Day.
Students will explore displays and activities designed to help them learn more about our country, the U.S. Constitution, and our Founding Fathers. This hands-on experience will connect classroom learning with real-world history while honoring the freedoms and responsibilities that shape our nation.
We’re excited for this meaningful opportunity to build understanding of history, learning, and community all in one event!

WBE third grade students are setting big goals this year—they’re working toward reading 40 books across 11 different genres! They’re already off to an impressive start, with 14 books completed among the three classes. As students finish books, they will add a book sticker to the bulletin board to track their progress and celebrate their reading success. We can’t wait to see their reading journeys grow throughout the year!

Third Grade Thespians
WBE third graders recently had the opportunity to showcase their acting skills by bringing characters from a classroom read-aloud to life. Students stepped into different roles, showing each character’s perspective and even expressing a character's moment of sadness. This activity helped them better understand the story while building confidence and creativity.
