The festive season is here, and we’re excited to welcome you to December at West Bountiful Elementary! We’re counting down to Winter Break, and there are only 14 school days remaining—all of which follow our regular schedule.
While this month is filled with holiday cheer and exciting spirit day events, we remain focused on providing a meaningful learning experience for all students. We appreciate your support in helping us balance the fun with continued academic growth throughout this special time of year.
As part of this exciting month, our Student Council is hosting a Coat Drive! This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to our community. Donations of new or gently used coats can be dropped off in the designated collection bins near the office. Now through December 13th!
A heartfelt thank you to all the families who supported our students last month by providing Thanksgiving meals, coats, and clothing. Your generosity has made a tangible difference in the lives of so many, and we are truly grateful for your kindness.
A Few Friendly Reminders:
Food Deliveries: Please remember that we cannot accept food deliveries from services like DoorDash, Uber Eats, or similar. These services require us to disclose the location of your child to non-guardians, which we cannot do for safety reasons. If your student forgets their lunch, our school cafeteria is always available to provide a meal.
Phones and Smart Watches: Students should not use cell phones or smart watches during the school day as they can disrupt learning. While we recognize these devices are important for safety before and after school, students needing to contact parents during the day can do so from the office phone.
Thank you for your partnership in ensuring that, even amidst the excitement, every day is a successful learning day. We’re grateful for the opportunity to work with your family and look forward to a joyful and productive December together!
Warm regards,
West Bountiful Elementary
